Hard-Fi are an English indie rock band formed in Staines, Surrey in 2003. The band's continual members have been Richard Archer (Vocals), Kai Stephens (Bass Guitar), Ross Phillips (Guitar) and Steve Kemp (Drums).

They have had a number of chart successes in their short time together, however it was Axwell’s mix of ‘Hard to Beat’ which helped cross the band over into the world of electronic dance music. The Axwell remix appeared on Ministry of Sound 2006 Annual.

Their second album ‘Once Upon A Time In The West’ reached #1 on the UK Pop charts in its first week. The first single off the album ‘Suburban Knights’ was reworked by Angello & Ingrosso, and featured on the Ministry of Sound 2008 Annual and Ministry of Sound Electro House Sessions 2.
