Located deep in the underbelly of the Australian dance music fraternity and supported by some of the most influential names it possesses, LO'99 is starting off 2015 on what can only be described as a mammoth surge towards international acclaim.
2014 saw LO'99 turn from local synth merchant to the new name on the lips of tastemakers across the planet. After remixes for Sweat It Out & CRNKN and having his debut single 'Take Me Back' hit the ARIA and Beatport charts,LO'99 was asked to remix Kaskade, John Dahlbäck and globally revered electronic band Röyksopp, with the latter reaching the the coveted #1 spot on the Hype Machine Remix Chart!!!
It is, without doubt, LO's absolute mastery of the rumbling, prowling, bassline-infused house and garage sounds that have proven the key to his recent success. His ability to pare music down to the bare essentials, then inject his score with immense, deeply beautiful and energetic rhythm & synth lines, shows both restraint and a willingness to let the music do the talking without relying on over-used drops or emotion-begging effects. LO'99 brings a pure heart of the dance floor sound ; a welcome descent into the darkened halls of clubland.
