Legendary DJ/Producer Sasha is heading to Australia and New Zealand throughout October and November for a run of club shows, which will see him launching the inaugural Garden Party season at Sydney's iconic Chinese Laundry. The house producer has been a pioneer with groundbreaking sets and has for many years set the benchmark through his creative originals and remixes including more recently for Hot Chip, London Grammar and Bonobo as well playing an important role in the early careers for DJs such as James Zabiela and BT.
Currently in the studio working on brand new tunes and with a Kwabs remix due soon via Asylum Records, the Grammy-nominated, Welsh-born producer has been voted into nearly every top 10 of DJ Mag’s annual poll since 1997, his peerless command of the dancefloor breaking boundaries over three decades now. In August, Sasha had clubbers under his spell at Randall Island’s Electric Zoo festival (US), while future dates include Benidorm (Spain) and ADE (Amsterdam) come October... all before making his way down under.
Accompanying Sasha at the Chinese Laundry Garden Party is the recently added Subb-an. After a massive year of touring, releases on some of the best underground labels and an Essential Mix set that goes down as one of the best of 2014, Subb-an is definitely one to look out for this coming season.
The second of the Garden Parties will follow two weeks later, with Sasha’s previous collaborator John Digweed taking over headline duties, making Chinese Laundry THE place to be this Spring.
