Dropping heaters around the country, KLP is one of Australia’s go-tos for big house music energy and is guaranteed to deliver good vibes and sweaty dance floors wherever she takes to the stage. Multiple ARIA Award nominations, platinum records, one of Australia’s most in-demand songwriters and vocalists, there’s not much Sydney-based DJ and producer KLP (Kristy Lee Peters) can’t do. With a jam-packed touring and release schedule, 2023 is looking busier than ever for KLP.

Breaking through as host of triple j’s House Party, KLP was earmarked as a tastemaker in the Australian music industry from early on. Since hanging up her radio mic, KLP has picked up two ARIA Award nominations for her collabs with Stace Cadet, ‘Energy’ and ‘People Happy’, with ‘Energy’ also placing #21 in triple j’s coveted Hottest 100 countdown. Follow up singles ‘Eat The Runway’ with LaLa Ri, ‘Busy Dancing’, ‘Can’t Handle’ and ‘Feel The Same’ with SH Gemini, show the incredible breadth of KLP’s songwriting and production prowess, with a bunch of international collabs also in the works.

Having previously written with the likes of Skrillex and Peking Duk, 2023 has seen KLP release her own solo singles ‘Body Close’ and team up with one of Australia’s biggest dance music exports, Tommy Trash, for ‘Big Emotion’. Signed to Sydney-based label Medium Rare Records, KLP has also released music through internationally renowned labels like Ministry of Sound and Ultra Records. She has a plethora of new music in the pipeline like her upcoming her collab with Loods on Diplo’s Higher Ground imprint and ‘Take Notes’ with Ranger Trucco on Archie Hamilton’s MicroHertz label, plus new solo single ‘Feelings’ coming soon through Medium Rare & Warner Music.
