Tony Colman, better known as London Elektricity, is one of the most influential figures in drum & bass. As the founder of the iconic Hospital Records and Fast Soul Music labels, he has played a defining role in shaping the sound and culture of the genre for more than three decades.

An accomplished producer, DJ, label owner and broadcaster, Tony has released nine studio albums under the London Elektricity name, producing some of liquid drum & bass’ most celebrated anthems including “Billion Dollar Gravy,” “Different Drum” and “Just One Second.” He is also the creator and host of several long-running drum & bass podcasts that have connected fans across the globe.

During his time at Hospital Records, Tony discovered and developed many of the scene’s biggest names, including High Contrast, Logistics, Danny Byrd and Netsky, cementing Hospital’s reputation as one of electronic music’s most influential independent labels. After stepping away from day-to-day label duties, he shifted his focus back to producing, DJing and building his new venture, Fast Soul Music.

In 2025, London Elektricity released his acclaimed album Lunatics and Legends, featuring collaborations with Catching Cairo, DJ Marky, Makoto, Jolliffe, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Anile, Danny Byrd and more, alongside releases on legendary labels Metalheadz and Spearhead.

Renowned for his marathon DJ performances, Tony regularly delivers five to six-hour sets, taking audiences on a journey through the full spectrum of drum & bass. His performances have captivated crowds across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Japan, South Korea, Poland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine and many more countries.

Back home in London, his Fast Soul Music nights at The Fox & Firkin have become a cornerstone of the city’s underground scene, reflecting Tony’s belief that great music should be accessible to everyone through an affordability policy that ensures no fan is turned away.

A true pioneer, London Elektricity continues to inspire new generations of artists and fans while remaining one of drum & bass’ most respected performers and ambassadors.
