An avid supporter of women in sports, Mowgli May was also chosen to be the official DJ of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, and the FIBA Women’s World Cup 2022.

 

2023 saw her release her debut solo single “Streets Calling” receiving rave reviews on triple j unearthed, radio airplay from triple j, triple j unearthed radio and FBI Radio, 3600+ videos on TikTok, playlisted on Apple Music “New Music Daily” and “Electronic Pop”, and used in a JBL ad.

 

Your favourite artist’s favourite DJ, recent support slots include opening for the iconic Mel C from The Spice Girls, show DJing sets for the likes of ASAP Ferg and Chance The Rapper when they touch down in Sydney, and DJing at Qudos Bank Arena for the Blackpink and Dua Lipa shows.

 

An especial favourite and resident DJ at Australia’s biggest LGBTQIA+ events, Mowgli has headlined Girls Club (MELB) twice, Queer Candy festival (Townsville), DJ’ed the Sydney World Pride Opening Concert alongside Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX and Jess Mauboy, and can be found on high rotation at Heaps Gay, Girlthing and Birdcage.

 

Not just a DJ she’s also making a cultural impact, being named on Urban List’s “Meet 13 Women Challenging, Leading, And Shaping Culture In Sydney Right Now” for International Women’s Day, starring in a Footlocker campaign and a regular guest on Buzzfeed’s Youtube channel.
