A shared passion for music brought together high school friends Ben, Lachie and Reid in the beautiful beachside community of the NSW Central Coast. Collectively known as Un-Ti, their single with Melbourne producer ALIUS,'Caught Up', has piqued the ears of influential playlisters around the world, garnering over a million plays on Spotify just a few weeks since its release.
Producing came first later on in high school after playing guitar for awhile. My friend introduced me to dance music and I (Ben) just became obsessed from that point on. After producing for a little while we gradually made our way into songwriting.
We met in music class in high school and just got along pretty easily. We were all sort of doing our own things during that period then a little after high school finished we decided to just come together and form Un-Ti.
I guess at the moment we would say honest and melodic pop/dance music, but we are still figuring it out and always trying to push ourselves creatively.
Caught Up was one of the first songs we wrote together. Ben came in with this guitar part and one Friday night over some drinks we were kinda just talking and reminiscing about being in high school and going to house parties, etc. We wrote the majority of the song that night. The song came to life through a collection of experiences and memories we had during that phase of our life.
Glades, loved their new album.
Skrillex, The Weekend and Ed Sheeran.
We love early 2000's pop punk so it would have to be Sum 41 "In Too Deep".
Time travel for sure.
