PNAU Unveil 5th Studio Album 'Changa'

"Anchored by the four-four. Feet pedalling, shoulders loose and a smile so wide it hurts. In the eye of a technicolor storm of your own making, a grinning chameleon glows neon. The chameleon cracks, splits in two in front of you. Chasing its shards for answers you already have, you split in two, in four, into a thousand fragments and your impossibly and perfectly fractured self seeks out the far corners of the galaxy. A voice drags you back into a whole. You go deeper."

Today, pioneering electronic dance act PNAU unveil their fifth studio album, Changa. Released via etcetc, Changa brings back dancefloor glory with moments of rave euphoria, featuring 2016's anthemic "Chameleon", recent cuts "Go Bang", "Into The Sky", "Young Melody" and "Control Your Body", alongside six unheard tracks.

A truly powerful album with influences ranging from 60s disco to 90s rave and jungle, Changa pays homage to the rave spirit in PNAU from which they emerged from, described by Nick as "our last hurrah to the dance floor". The trio's shape-shifting versatility shines through with turbulent waves of funk, distorted soundscapes, blissful vocals and contagious melodies. Each track boasts traditional pop sensibilities, only to be punctuated by PNAU's infectious creativity.

Kira Divine, a New Yorker of Guyanese heritage, lends her transcending vocals to the profound PNAU experience throughout.
