The resounding enthusiasm for the release of Australian DJ and producer FISHER's new single 'Losing It' has fast been approaching fanatical. Featuring in his sets since 2017, the track has already accumulated over 13,000 Shazams; an impressive result when there wasn't a release date in sight. Now, FISHER is finally giving the people what they want, with an official release today via etcetc for Australia and New Zealand. 'Losing It' is FISHER's first release on with his newly founded label 'Catch & Release'.
So far, FISHER has made it three from three with singles 'Crowd Control', 'Stop It' and 'Ya Kidding', with 'Losing It' is set to follow. First picking up some heat after posting a video of him playing the track live in one of his two Coachella sets, videos of 'Losing It' have now amassed over 1 million views online, with online rips found in the sets of many DJs, willing to sacrifice sound quality for dancefloor results.
FISHER has seen support from a huge array of A-list DJs around the world, with the likes of Diplo, Jax Jones, Alison Wonderland, Claptone, JAUZ, Solardo, Danny Howard, Erick Morillo, Claude VonStroke and more following the Fish. Moby posted that this video of Erick Morillo dropping 'Crowd Control', saying it "reminded (him) of how much he loves house music".
Australian Shazam data proves that FISHER is far more than just a dance artist, with his 2018 release 'Stop It' going Top 5 in over 20 regional Australian Shazam charts. Both 'Stop It' and 'Crowd Control' were added also across the board to triple j, hit top 5 on the ARIA Club Chart and moved up the Spotify Viral charts in Australia, New Zealand and more.
With a 2018 tour diary to envy the most versed global party enthusiasts, following his current 'Losing It In Europe' tour FISHER will return to Australia to tour the country for the Listen Out festivals in September and the newly announced Listen In festival in Adelaide. This will be FISHER's first time playing in Australia since his infamous Mountain Sounds performance.
